sa·ga·cious | \ sə-ˈgā-shəs
Definition of sagacious having or showing acute mental discernment and keen practical sense; shrewd
I was on a conference call at work a few weeks back, and the senior member of the team used this word. He was asking his admin to be sagacious when she requested that people change their schedules to accommodate his meeting. Her typical approach is one of "He doesn't change. YOU change." I wonder if she employed his suggestion.
