Just. Stop. Talking.

Welcome to Alabama, where we LOVE to put ignorant people in office. Whether it's a state supreme court judge who flaunts breaking the law, or a former football coach who has no idea what the three branches of government are, we have a spot for you to serve!

In case you haven't heard, former SEC football coach Tommy Tuberville was overwhelmingly elected to the United States Senate. Since being elected, he has extolled the virtues of fighting socialism in World War II, and named the three branches of government as being the house, the senate, and the executive.

Egad.

So, just in case Tubby is reading my blog, let me give him a very short and concise history lesson. You know, like he's in the 4th grade.

First of all, WWII was all about fighting fascism. Fascism is an authoritarian, nationalistic political ideology.

Stay with me, sir. I see your eyes glazing over.

On the other hand, socialism is an economic system in which the means of production are either owned by the state or owned commonly but cooperatively controlled.

Examples of fascist leaders would be Adolf Hitler and Benito Mussolini. You know, the ones from WWII, who were members of the Axis (I threw that in for a little extra credit). Examples of socialists would be a bunch of people you've never heard of, with the possible exception of Karl Marx.

Moving on, the three branches of government are Legislative (like the House and Senate), Judicial (like the Supreme Court), and the Executive (like the President).

Now, how about you shut that cake hole of yours, get some damn good advisors who actually passed elementary school United States history, and educate yourself on the fundamentals of this great nation. Fundamentals that every illegal immigrant has to learn and be tested on before becoming a citizen of the country you represent.

You are truly a disgrace.
